God of this City
Throughout 2008, our desire is to create an irresistible environment at The Creek and in our lives. One way we can become irresistible is by taking transformed actions. When the Church is focused on people outside of its walls, and not just inside, we act more like Jesus.
Regretfully, many Christians are focused more on themselves than on others and are afraid to engage the world's culture for fear that non-believers may reject them or tarnish their lives. So, we build invisible walls around ourselves, walls that must come down if we are to experience the Church in the ancient city of Antioch, the first known multi-cultural church. By bringing down four primary walls they created an irresistible environment by acting more like Jesus.
