Purpose: To assist the Communication Director and to lead event and ministry marketing efforts at Indian Creek Christian Church (The Creek) and multisite campuses.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with InDesign
  • Knowledge of Creative Cloud
  • 5 years of Marketing experience

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain a publication calendar.
  2. Analyze effectiveness/results of marketing efforts.
  3. Write compelling, audience-focused advertising copy.
  4. Coach ministry teams in refining and enhancing their message.
  5. Maintain ongoing dialogue with ministry teams and volunteers to ensure our messages are clearly communicated.
  6. Keep marketing focused on telling the story of The Creek and in the context of God’s larger story.
  7. Study our audience to help us continually identify the right targets.
  8. Study our marketing efforts to ensure we are getting the highest return on investment.
  9. Help Communication Director prioritize events based on a tiered communication system.
  10. Schedule content deployment across all communication streams.
  11. Attend monthly staff meetings.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Shelby Street Campus

(Part-time – nonexempt position)

The person hired for this position must be able to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This role is suited for someone who relates well with people, and who possesses administration, communication, and management skills.  Is a member of Indian Creek Christian Church or willing to become a member. Ministry Description

Purpose: To serve Jesus at The Creek, Shelby Street campus, by handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, and performing general administrative duties.  May also assist other staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Answer and direct outside calls.
  2. Greet and help guests.
  3. Process daily mail.
  4. Maintain the building and coffee bar for weekend services.
  5. Maintain/organize all kiosk and communion table materials for the Shelby Street Campus. (as needed)
  6. Assist staff with clerical projects.
  7. Primary Database Manager: weekly newcomer entry (including first time visitor correspondence); weekly attendance and information updates; and quarterly updates for Shelby Street Campus. Trained on the database "The Rock”.
  8. Maintain spreadsheet and distribute Prayer Request Cards for Shelby Street Campus.
  9. Market, Communicate, and Process all class/bible study requests and attendance (i.e. Explore, Connect, and Commit) at the Shelby Street Campus.
  10. Process operating expense vouchers and tracking them for the appropriate signatures and payment. (daily/weekly)
  11. Order, set up, and assist with clean up of food for ministry in-service and staff luncheons for Shelby Street Campus including all supplies for weekend services.
  12. Manage all volunteers for child safe processes including entering new volunteers into Planning Center for Shelby Street Campus.
  13. Oversee and schedule volunteers for Guest Services, including Ushers, Greeters, Coffee Bar, Medical, Security, Information Center, Parking, Kiosk, Porch, Communion, and Baptism at Shelby Street Campus using Planning Center software.
  14. Create reports for attendance and volunteer statistics monthly – send info to Executive Minister of Global Strategy and Leadership Formation.
  15. Assist with planning team for annual ReChurch conference.
  16. Liaison with the Communications Team, ministers and ministry teams to communicate via print, social media, and/or digital means (website) for Shelby Street Campus.
  17. Assist with other ministry teams at Shelby Street Campus as needed.
  18. Write eNewsletter announcements for ministry functions for Shelby Street Campus.
  19. Attend Shelby Street Campus team meetings, all monthly staff meetings at Franklin Road Campus, and other ministry events as deemed necessary by leadership.
  20. Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Answer and direct outside phone lines as the primary telephone system attendant.
  2. Greet and help guests.
  3. Process daily mail.
  4. Order and maintain office supply inventories.
  5. Coordinate supply orders for copiers, postage, and service calls.
  6. Manage the schedule for all “The Creek” events and activities via Facilities Scheduler.
  7. Maintain a log of visitors who are using internal keys.
  8. Maintain a file of Certificate of Insurance documents.
  9. Assist Executive Minister, Operations with administrative needs.
  10. Update ACS People Suite with newcomer entries and other information updates.
  11. Monitor the general email account.
  12. Assist with in-service and staff luncheons.
  13. Process invoices/vouchers on all general office equipment and supplies: copier leases, postage, postage machine lease, supplies, and Facilities related items.
  14. Update expense spreadsheets for Facilities budget.
  15. Assist others with operating, training, and be the primary contact on all general office equipment: copiers, fax, and phones. Serves as the "Help Desk" for staff, volunteers, and guests.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose:  To serve Jesus at Indian Creek Christian Church (hereafter The Creek) by developing, coordinating and administering effective ministry in the area of Early Childhood Development; by developing, coordinating, and administering other venues for outreach and enrichment through the Preschool ministry; and by providing leadership to and supervision of volunteers involved in the Preschool ministry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop programming for Preschool ministry.
  2. Recruit, train, and schedule all Preschool leaders or volunteers.
  3. Edit and prepare all curriculum.
  4. Supervise Associate Preschool Director.
  5. Purchase and stock all supplies for Preschool ministry.
  6. Work with appropriate ministry teams and other leaders in carrying out the Early Childhood ministry.
  7. Attend regular Children’s ministry and The Creek staff meetings.
  8. Attend monthly Indy Children’s Ministry Network meetings as a resource and for informational purposes.
  9. Work with Children’s Director to coordinate the effective use of Preschool classrooms.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
