Master of Arts (Religion) (Concentrated)
Pastoral Leadership Concentration

Classes meet one night a week.

Schedule of Classes

The Seminary of Cincinnati Christian University now offers graduate courses on the campus of The Creek. For students living in central Indiana, the growing number of course offerings will enable their graduate education to continue with increased convenience and decreased travel expense.

Beginning in August, Cincinnati Bible Seminary will offer courses that will lead to a Master of Arts (Religion) degree with a concentration in Pastoral Leadership. The Seminary also plans, pending approval of our accrediting agency, to offer a schedule would enable the student to complete the entire degree program at Indian Creek. A major advantage to students taking MAR classes is that The Creek offers a lab-like environment for the immediate application of practical ministry principles.

Courses are taught on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-10:15p.m., and each course is completed in only nine weeks. This concentrated format enables the student to complete the degree quickly, and with the structure of knowing that courses are only on Tuesday evenings. For specific information on these requirements, our admissions team at the Seminary office will be able to assist students.

For further information on the MAR, please read FAQs on the Concentrated MAR Program. As well, please feel free to contact the Seminary office at 1-800-949-4228.

In addition to the MAR classes, many new graduate courses are being offered at The Creek. For example, two new, practical courses are being offered this fall: “Church Technology” will explore developing the located ministry through web-based technology, technology for worship, and technology infrastructure within the church. “Issues in Church Management” will explore the legal, financial and administrative matters unique to churches. This course that will be taught by three professionals: an attorney, a church-banking executive, and a church administrative executive. A new series of courses is being developed in mega-church studies, as well. For more information on these—or other courses, please visit Cincinnati Christian University. You can also obtain additional information from Dr. Gary Johnson, senior minister of The Creek and Director of Pastoral Leadership Studies for CCU.

Please consider how an advanced degree can advance your ministry for Christ.
