Momentum

Our Mission:

Middle school is a very transitional time in a child's life, they are equipping themselves developmentally, physically and emotionally for life.  Also a middle school student is spiritually equipping themselves to live like Jesus.  At The Creek our middle school ministry is trying to draw alongside parents to equip students to live like Jesus by sharing Jesus, following Jesus and serving others.  This is why we offer the following ministry opportunities for our middle school students:

Momentum (5th - 8th Grade):

Momentum takes place on Sunday at 9:30a.m. in the Chapel.  This is our main weekly outreach that uses teaching, corporate worship, drama and video to effectively communicate truths.  This is an excellent venue for first time visitors and regular attendees.

Group 56 (5th - 6th Grade):

Group 56 takes place at 11:00a.m. in the Family Life Center (room 205).  This is our weekly teaching and small group venue specifically designed for 5th and 6th grade students.

Life Groups (5th - 8th Grade):

Life Groups meet on Sunday from 6:30p.m. - 8:00p.m. at the church in the Family Life Center.  They are our weekly ministry environments that provide a place for smaller groups of students to foster stronger, more intimate relationships.  This environment is central to providing community within our ministry.  Life Groups are a safe place to open your heart, share your life and ask the tough questions.  Life Groups are divided up by grade and gender with each group led by a minimum of two adults.  Life Groups start in September!
