Special Buddies Program
By providing one-to-one "buddies" in the Children, Junior or Senior High Ministries, ACCESS will assist in meeting the spiritual needs of the students with disabilities. In these ministries, Special Buddies facilitate the inclusion of the special needs student in the classroom. Each student, as needed, is provided a special buddy who ministers one-to-one by helping the student make friends and learn about Jesus through the activities and teaching. Special Buddies can be either adult or peer buddies, depending on the needs of the student. We also are able to provide Special Buddies for those kids who need one-to-one assistance to be able to fully participate in our summer Vacation Bible School program.
