Access is a ministry existing to meet the needs of those families and individuals with a disability. Keep scrolling to see all the programs we offer.
Our goal is to extend Christ's love by:
- Meeting their needs in a way to offer encouragement and support.
- Providing opportunities for these individuals and families to be fully integrated into the church.
- We not only welcome individuals with special needs - but truly feel the body of Christ is not complete without each one of them.

Saturdays at 4:00p.m. (Adult Class Only) and Sundays 9:15a.m.
The ACCESS class is a special-needs class that serves those whose needs are not met in the regular programming. In addition to music and prayer, volunteers help children with the Bible lesson and related activities using a special education curriculum. All of this takes place in a nurturing atmosphere where each individual is loved and valued as a precious gift of God. Access class participants must have a completed info sheet on file. Starting January 30th, 2016, Access will only have an Adult Class (16+) on Saturdays at the 4:00 service, where we will attend worship in the balcony and have class in the Atrium, and a 16 and under class on Sundays at the 9:15 service. If adults or kids show up at other services and need a buddy, they will need to sign up ahead of time, so we can arrange a buddy for them.
By providing one-to-one "buddies" in the Children, Middle School or High School Ministries, ACCESS will assist in meeting the spiritual needs of the students with disabilities. In these ministries, Special Buddies facilitate the inclusion of the special needs student in the classroom. Each student, as needed, is provided a special buddy who ministers one-to-one by helping the student make friends and learn about Jesus through the activities and teaching. Special Buddies can be either adult or peer buddies, depending on the needs of the student. If you are a parent and you are in need of a buddy for weekend services, fill out this form to let us know or contact Amie Shannon at
For kids and adults with special needs and their siblings
This event gives parents a time to enjoy a night out (either at the dinner that we host or on your own) while volunteers provide a safe, loving and fun night for their children. We have two annual events, our Spring Carnival and Fall Festival. Registration is required.
Age 16 and older
Our Breakaway activities happen a couple times a year for young adults and adults with special needs (ages 16+). These events provide social activities in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Contact for more information.
