Approach (9th - 12th Grade)

Because of our constant pursuit of COMMUNITY (a pursuit that plays itself out when a group of committed teenagers takes a risk and becomes vulnerable, and chooses to love one another) we introduce: APPROACH, our high school student ministry.  APPROACH meets each week during the school year on Sunday mornings from 10:45a.m. to 12:00p.m. in the chapel. This is a time of corporate worship, drama, teaching, communion and a quiet time devoted to their spiritual journey. On Sunday evenings from 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. is our small group ministry in the chapel.  This is a time for relational ministry where accountability and evangelism training is fostered.  In addition to the scheduled APPROACH programs, we have a couple of unique opportunities that can involve high school students. Bible Bowl

Bible Bowl is a Bible knowledge based competition team.  Teams compete at different grade levels covering from third grade through high school.  Weekly practice sessions and regular competitions against teams from other churches, including taking part in a national tournament each summer, are a part of the year.

Group 56 (5th - 6th Grade)

Group 56 is our weekly teaching & small group venue that is specifically designed to communicate to 5th and 6th grade students.  Group 56 is during the 11:00a.m. service and is located in the FLC in room 203.

Life Groups (7th - 8th Grade)

Life groups are our weekly in-home environment that allows smaller groups of student to foster stronger, more intimate relationships.  This environment is central to providing community within our ministry.  The home can be a much more welcoming place than a classroom at church and is where lasting friendships are often made.  Life Groups are a safe place to open your heart, share you life, and ask the tough questions.

Momentum (5th - 8th Grade)

Momentum is the part of Student Ministries that specializes in Middle and Intermediate age programming.  We provide high energy, God-centered mornings specifically for this unique age group.  Each Sunday Morning during 9:15 hour the Chapel is filled with worship, laughter, biblical teaching and many students growing together during a large group time.  We look forward to meeting you on Sunday!

VBS Middle School House Building Project (5th - 8th Grade)

The 5th – 8th grade students will be building the walls for 2 houses during the week of VBS.  June 4 - 7.  We will be in need of adults who can help facilitate this massive project.  Sign up to help out & watch for more information to be sent to you in May.  Thank you!
