Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School (formerly IPS 15)
Each year the staff at TG (Thomas Gregg) tells us how excited the students are for their tutoring mentors to come. Others ask if there will be someone for them this year.
Scheduling changes have made it easier to be someone for more kids through the classroom mentoring in the mornings. While there you will get to work with a teacher and a handful of students. There is a reading block and a math block, so you get to use your strengths.
There will be a 45-minute, one-on-one time with your student in the afternoon. K-3rd grade students will be available from 2:05-2:50 p.m. and 4-6th grade students will be available from 3:05-3:50 p.m.
LifeBridge Community Center
Mentors at LifeBridge volunteer after school at Beech Grove Middle School with kids ranging in age from K-12. Mentors commit to being available from 4:20 p.m. - 6:40 p.m. one evening per week. Mentors create relationships with students that include homework help as well as creative, faith-based programming.
Join us and to be “someone” for the students.
