Believing in the power of prayer and Scripture, Gary prays and preaches in hopes The Creek will become a transforming community, while pursuing life-changing relationships within and beyond The Creek. As proud grandparents to five grandchildren, Gary and Leah rack up frequent-flier miles to New Orleans and Prince Edward Island (CA) to see their two sons and daughter-in-laws, who serve in vocational ministry.
ElderDavid loves to see transformation take place through Bible teaching, which he does among both adults and kids. He and his wife Michele have six children; two married, and the rest making their way quickly to adulthood.
Technical Arts Assistant Director
Timmy engages technical arts volunteers holistically, relationally, and intentionally. He believes community is transformed when relationships are cultivated first and acts of service second - as a byproduct of those relationships. Timmy loves spending time with his wife and 3 kids, exploring all things artisanal coffee, following the latest in tech, connecting with God through worship music, and staying in shape.
Executive Minister, Next Generation
Seth is eager to help The Creek transform community through teaching, leading, and building community. He has been in ministry for 10 years and holds degrees from Johnson University and Cincinnati Christian University. In his spare time, he loves hanging out with his wife, daughter, and their friends – especially with a great cup of coffee.
Executive Minister, Programming
Shan wears many hats (not literally), but primarily transforms community by overseeing the weekend worship experience. His greatest loves, after Jesus, are his wife Lise and their two sons. He enjoys the St. Louis Cardinals, Disney, Star Wars, and the outdoors. He has a Ph.D. in Conflict Management and enjoys his role as peacemaker.

Lori provides support to the Generous Team and loves to show the power, hope and victory that Christ has for those in our community. She enjoys hanging out with her two kiddos and husband as well as cooking, couponing, Starbucks, Colts football and Michigan State basketball.

Chris helps GO! transform community by providing the support necessary for local and global volunteers and missionaries to be successful. She does not like chocolate and claims to be Time Magazine’s 2006 person of the year. As far as anyone knows, she is delightful.
Administrative Assistant, Lead Servant
Ellen transforms community by providing administrative support to the Lead Servant in a wide variety of projects, tasks, assignments, and travel arrangements. In her spare time she loves gardening, hiking, crocheting, and Geocaching with her husband Scott and twin boys.
Kristy transforms community by introducing God and His story to preschoolers and their families. She strives to love God and love others in all that she does. Kristy and her husband Luke are often found in the company of awesome kids because they feel at home when surrounded by the next generation.
Kelli hopes you will feel a part of the community when you call or visit The Creek whether it’s the first time we’ve heard from you or you’ve been with us for years. She’s a “lifer” in Franklin Township, has the best husband and two outstanding kids. When she’s out and about she can be found at show choir contests, tennis matches and hanging out with her homies and peeps.
Brian enjoys serving with the community of The Creek. Whether it is preparing for worship, working with the next generation, or manual labor, Brian loves seeing God's transforming power at work in our community. Brian is grateful to have a loving and supportive wife in Raendra, and can't get enough of his three sons.
Brian builds and supports the Information Technology systems at The Creek so that they help us fulfill our mission to transform community for Christ. I am a Graduate of Kentucky Christian University. I have been married to my wife Sarah since 2007, and together we have two kids.
Campus Minister - Shelby Street Campus
Eric and his wife Marci have spent over twenty years following God, raising six kids (their “case studies”), gaining two new daughters through marriage, and their first grandson. With all of these experiences under their belt, they now help men and women build marriages and families that transform them spiritually.
Creative Arts Director
Laura transforms community by creating and leading worship experiences that help people encounter and remember the story of God. She loves to show people where their story intersects with God’s story. She enjoys belting Broadway, laughing hysterically, reading great books, and living life with her favorite two people in the whole world, Matt and Abigail.
Student Discipleship Minister
Jared serves on the student ministry team and seeks to transform community by walking with students, parents and adult leaders as they find their identity, belonging, and purpose in Jesus. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching all kinds of sports, a good book, most things Louisiana, and all things Apple.
Children's Director - Shelby Street Campus
Sarah's transforming community by making a safe and fun environment for kids and families at Shelby Street. Coffee and Donuts are my love language. I love to travel and I'm always down for an adventure. Being called "Aunt Sarah" is my favorite role in life so far. Music and concerts are also a few of my favorite things. Go Vols!
Middle School Minister
I think middle schoolers are the coolest people on earth! I love transforming our student community by helping students know that they are known, valued, and loved by God and by us (even if they just drank 4 monsters!). My wife is way too cool for me, but I’m glad she said yes to marrying me! I love spending time with my bride, eating pizza, soccer, hockey, and video games among other things.
Mary makes transforming community possible by covering the details of communication and providing paths to make our staff more effective in how we connect with the congregation and community. She’s a hairstyling ninja, a worship junkie, a loving wife, and the mom to two incredible kids, but most importantly, a daughter of the King.

Jennifer Gudat helps transform community, by working closely with the children’s team ministers, and helping them with day to day tasks. In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband and children, and she is training for her 1st marathon in Disney.
Tom points The Creek community to the transforming grace of Jesus through worship leading, teaching, discipleship and accountability. He loves Jesus with his whole life. As a result, Tom is madly in love with his wife, is proud and humbled to be entrusted with 2 amazing children, and loves to laugh and generally enjoy life whether he is at home with his family, with friends, or on his motorcycle.

Kevin makes transforming community possible by being the air traffic controller for operations. Kevin loves to fish, hike, and golf. Sometimes you will find him hiking and fishing while golfing. Kevin enjoys cooking for his wife and anticipating the arrival of a new granddaughter.

Kim is eager to transform community by assisting with adult discipleship and care ministry activities. Kim enjoys playing tennis with her husband, listening to worship music, and cheering on her sons. She believes that Diet Rite is the best tasting soda.
Global Outreach Minister, Mobilization and Intern Development
Scott loves to connect people to participate with God in spiritually transforming communities around the world. He also developed and provides leadership to our ministry preparation LeadNow program for university students. He came to The Creek from Johnson University in 2005 and served as high school minister for eight rewarding years. His prized assets are his wife and two kids.
Care Ministry Director
Understanding that many times significant growth spurts in the discipleship journey come through life's most difficult moments, Wendy contributes to the transforming community of the Creek by encouraging and equipping the church family to care for one another during challenging times. Wendy's personal interests include spending time with her husband and three children, reading, seeing movies and connecting with friends.

Laina serves The Creek Community of Believers and the Care Team wholeheartedly. She is a Truth seeker and believes the best way to offer hope to this world is through the Truth of Jesus Christ. She enjoys game nights with family or friends, spending time with her LifeBridge Community kids, adventuring to new places, and good conversation over Saturday morning brunch.

Susie transforms community through discipleship and care—encouraging hurting people to look to Jesus as they face life’s challenges. She enjoys bicycle riding with her husband Steve, being Mima to her grandchildren, and solving the world’s problems with friends over coffee.

I transform community by planting Gospel seeds in the Next Generation so they might grasp their call to kingdom work. I am a small town boy who loves music, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Chinese food. In my free time I enjoy napping and going to concerts.
Heather transforms community by making people feel welcome/at ease and helping them get to someone who can answer their questions. I love my hubby Bryan, living in Greenwood, iced tea (unsweet), hanging out with family & friends. I’m a December baby; however, I can’t stand winter but love summer and the beach.

Penny transforms community by developing, coordinating & measuring processes that align with discipleship and care. She enjoys spending time with her husband (John) and daughter (Shayla), along with reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.

Terri helps to transform community by assisting the Programming/Worship and Creative Arts Ministry with your weekend experience. Terri enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends and her new role of Grandma. But...she still does not like putt putt.
3rd - 5th Grade Minister
Chad helps transform community by helping 3-5 graders set the foundations of their faith and preparing them for being the church for the rest of their lives! He holds a bachelors of arts in Youth/Family Ministry and Preaching from Lincoln Christian University. He is absolutely crazy about his amazing wife Heather! They share a passion and desire to share the Gospel of Jesus with families here at The Creek.
Associate Preschool Director
Erin transforms community at the Creek by telling children about the awesome things God does. She strives to show God's compassion and love through engaging games and activities. She spends her spare time with her family, cats, and – because her favorite people are under 3 feet tall – she is pursuing a degree in childhood education.
Global Outreach Director, Local Compassion & Generous
Marcie transforms community by linking the needs of people in our community with the service of the people of The Creek through models that are Biblical, relational, and empowering. Her free time is devoted to hanging out with her groovy husband, her two terrific kids, and a good cup of joe.
Matt considers himself someone who married way out of his league! His wife Dana is a great mother to their children and works hard to keep Matt out of trouble. As Technical Arts Director, Matt leads a team who transforms community by providing audio, lighting, and video support designed to maximize ministry efforts at The Creek.
Executive Minister, Global Strategy & Leadership Formation
Mark loves to see transformation take place as he teaches at The Creek and around the world, strategizes with local and global partners, and mentors leaders throughout God’s church. Mark is married to his best friend, adores his three daughters, and putty when it comes to his two grandsons and granddaughter. Mark loves speaking the truth (which is really close to Ephesians 4:15).
Chad is a part of the student ministry team, which serves alongside a transforming community of great middle school and high school students. He fancies himself a family man and spends all his free time with his beautiful wife and 3 sons. All the while cheering for Notre Dame! Go Irish!
Bret works with all ministries of The Creek to ensure the facilities are safe and prepared to help connect and transform the community to the kingdom. Bret and his wife are enjoying the empty nest lifestyle while still spending time there two daughters and one son-in-law. Bret’s outside interest include, Unlimited Hydroplanes, Indy Fuel hockey and international travel.
Brock tells The Creek’s story of transforming community and finds ways to connect people with the church. He’s always checking out art and design. He can’t get enough of playing with his 2 kids, hanging with his wife, and cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Joanna works with Creek families and volunteers in the nursery to teach God’s word and Jesus’ love to the toddlers and babies in a unique and special way. She's been working in the early education field for 5 years. God has blessed her with a great deal of passion and patience to work with this age group.
Special Needs Director
Amie transforms community by working alongside families and Access Ministry volunteers to show individuals with special needs that they are known, valued, and loved by God. She’s happily married, a mama of 3 little ones, a Boston Terrier enthusiast, a nature lover and desires to be a woman after God’s own heart.
ElderMike cherishes his friendships across the transforming community, with students and adults. He serves in NextGen, Global Outreach, and Adult Discipleship. His family, wife and three kids, are the most important people in his life.
Alison transforms community by leading the children's staff and volunteer team to create a consistent and engaging atmosphere for kindergarten through fifth graders that inspires them to trust God. Alison enjoys watching movies, snuggling with her dog Meeka, and is known for randomly bursting into song. Her dream is to be the voice of the next Disney princess.
ElderSteve loves serving with a staff and congregation that work hard to transform community and he is involved in this effort by serving as an elder, serving on the Management Team, and serving on Mission trips. He has a wife of 48 years, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and enjoys spending time with family, traveling and being retired.

Chad helps transform community by connecting people to develop deeper and stronger relationships with one another and with the One that makes it all happen. Chad is being transformed, too. He finds joy in spending time with his wife, two sons, and friends. He also enjoys golfing, exercising, reading, and good conversation over a cup of coffee!

Kelsey helps to transform community by assisting the Student Ministry Team and making sure students know they are known, valued and loved. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughter and nerdy husband, traveling and watching sports.
Receptionist, Shelby Street Campus
Misty provides support to the Shelby Street Team and congregation. She loves to show the power of how a welcoming group of believers can transform lives in our community. She loves her family and friends, is an awesome mom to her two fur babies (which means she spoils them rotten), loves to travel and has lived overseas twice and loves to listen to worship music.
Denise transforms community by helping the staff at The Creek with their HR needs. She also serves in the TECH and Choir ministries in Worship & Creative Arts. Denise and Drew were married in 1985 and have two young adult children, Ryan & Kristin. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading a good book.
Pam transforms community by providing financial information for all of the ministries of The Creek, and by helping with hospitality during conferences and events. Pam loves all God’s children, especially her 6 grandkids, the babies in the Nursery, and the elementary kids at IPS school #15.
David’s community has been transformed at and by The Creek, as it is here that he was called into fulltime vocational ministry and is allowed to share Christ with people throughout Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He loves his wife, two kids and two grandkids and is grateful that Christ is the center of the Wright house.
