Foundations of the Faith Class

Join Teaching Pastor, Emerson Kennedy, in a 5-week course to grow in one’s knowledge and love for God through the study of Christian theology. This class will be a combination of personal study, teaching, group discussion, and prayer, so participants should come prepared to do work both in class and outside of class time. Having successfully completed this course, participants will have:

• Grown in their knowledge and love for God through the study of Christian theology.
• Been introduced to all the major areas in the study of Christian theology, such as the doctrines of Revelation, God, Christology, Pneumatology, Soteriology, Eschatology, etc.
• Grasped the vital areas of convergence between theology and the Christian life, as well as, areas of divergence between Christian theology and culture.
• Developed a working theological vocabulary, a knowledge of important theological themes, and a theological approach that will support further study in theology and related disciplines.
